How it works


Manage user access (MUA) is a facility on Online Banking Enterprise™ to restrict users to specific PCs/times and/or IP addresses. Users can be restricted to specific times of the day and/or specific days of the week. For example, you can restrict a user to working hours on normal working days and deny any access outside these restrictions.

An IP address or range can be used to restrict a user to a specific corporate network. This option is not really appropriate for small network setups where the IP address is likely to be dynamic. However, it does add a lot more security to the Online Banking Enterprise™ profile.

Review your Event log to determine the consistency of your IP address to determine if this is a suitable control for you. If you have a static IP range, this control can be invaluable in preventing unauthorised access to your banking profile.

Trusted profiles allows clients restrict their users to specific PCs/devices.
